Flyers Roster in Shambles

After 3 free agent signings, 1 player acquired through trade, 4 re-signings, and endless trade rumors the Flyers Roster is stockpiled right now. However that does leave the Flyers 2.5M over the Salary Cap. Lets take a look:

-Flyers Goaltending-

-Analysis-

• Flyers are 2.5M over the Cap, someone has to be on the move.
• They have 14 offensemen signed at the moment, 15 if Powe re-signs, and only 12 spots available.
• Of their 7 defenseman 5 make over 3M dollars, the Flyers have to decided who is the number 5 defensman and get rid of them. there are plenty of UFA guys like O'Donnell who can bridge the gap until their Prospects mature.
• The Flyers have 4 centers in Giroux, Richards, Carter, and Briere who all need to play at center and all are good enough to play on the top 2 lines. One of them has to go, my guess is Giroux and Richards are "untouchable."
• Moves have to be on their way, there are just simply too many guys. Maybe Holmgren has a plan with all these signings but it's tough to tell right now.
