The Flyers hardly found a diamond in the rough when acquiring Leino, but they did take a chance on a once euro superstar. Acquired mid season in 2009 Leino's all-offense-no-defense attitude quickly landed him in Laviolette's dog house. But when injuries fell on the team Leino answered the call and just as quickly became a hero.
Last season, Leino set the Flyers post season record for most points. This season he kept his hot hand tallying 19 goals and 34 assists. However, the Flyers are in a tough situation with little money to spend and a huge need for a goalie. The Finish born star could be gone in a flash.
