Yet another steal of the Bobby Clarke era, Hartnell was acquired in the deal that also brought the Flyers a first round pick and Kimmo Timonen. Scotty hasn't lived up to the 6th overall pick or has he?
Scotty has become a threat both along the boards and in front of the net and has filled in great in the paint where Mike Knuble left two seasons ago. Hartnell has tallied 20 or more goals in 5 of the last 6 seasons, with a career high of 30 in 08-09.
Hartnell has two years left on his contract but can play with any line 1-4, which will probably keep him around Philly for a while longer.
